In order to get admission in MCA course at GIET University, students need to qualify the last exam. Apart from this,  BCA or equivalent degree with 50% aggregate from any recognised University or Institute is required. However, candidates who have completed class 12 or BA with maths, BSc, BCom or Graduation (45% aggregate in case of reserved category) are eligible for the course.

The number of companies visiting for placements is less as compared to engineering students.

However, the college's official website mentions that students get placed in leading companies through AMC.

Indian Educational Services also provides information about the placement process, selection process, and companies visiting the campus. 

The top recruiters of AMC Engineering College in 2022 included leading companies such as Cognizant, Accenture and Infosys.

To take admission into the MCA course at College of Engineering, Anna University you have to go through the Common Entrance Exam, Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).

Applicants with the Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% score can get into to apply for the course.
