I can tell from my experience - I did B.Com and then MCA. Only because I had Business Mathematics as a subject in my 2nd year, I was able to get admission for MCA. In our class, 60 candidates were admitted, out of which 6 were non-computer Science background students (from under graduation like B.Com B.Sc. Physics etc. ), and within the 1st semester 4 guys discontinued as they were not able to understand the basic concepts in Computer Science. Myself and another guy (who became a close friend just because we struggled with programming) went on to the 2nd semester. But, my friend found it difficult to continue and dropped there to do MBA. I continued the course and completed MCA and I am very happy and satisfied for my determination to complete the course. I am just sharing this, so that you are determined to complete MCA even if the initial semesters would be a bit tough.

If you are looking for an idea about the quality of education with Georgian College, it is a great school. I went there and I felt confident that I learned valuable skills about my chosen industry. Personally, I feel that Georgian College, depending on your career ambitions and goals, it is a great place to start. If you are looking to get into an executive business career you should consider moving on to university afterwards to acquire more management and specialised business skills. I have chosen that route myself. You can transfer your Diploma towards a university degree after you graduate, then just complete another 2 to 3 years in university and graduate with both a Diploma and degree.

The applicant (s) must fulfil these criteria to be eligible to seek provisional admission for PG Programs
The applicant (s) must appear for and clear the Jain Entrance Test JET which includes:Written TestPersonal Interview (PI)
The applicant (s) must obtain the minimum cut-off percentage and above in Degree Examination / Equivalent examination recognised by Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The cut-off percentage will be communicated to the applicant (s) during the JET process, as it differs depending on the programme selected.
