The GMCH Chandigarh MD placement report for 2024 is not available yet. However, as per the college's NIRF report, 104 PG (3-year) students, out of a total of 128 students, were placed in 2023. 21 students were selected for higher education. In 2022, 85 students, out of a total of 128 students were placed while 5 students were selected for higher studies.

In total, there are 133 seats for MD courses at GMCH Chandigarh. These seats are further distributed over the MD specialisations available at the college. No, direct admission to the MD programme of GMCH Chandigarh is not possible. The admission is strictly entrance-based. It is mandatory to appear for the accepted entrance exam, i.e. NEET PG, to secure a seat for MD at the college. After the exam, candidates must register for seat allocation through NEET PG counselling. Only NEET-qualified candidates can participate in the counselling process.
