MBBS course is the foundational Medical degree, typically spanning 5.5 years, including a 1-year internship. MBBS prepares students to become general physicians. MD is a PG degree pursued after MBBS, usually lasting 3 years, where doctors specialize in a particular field like internal medicine, paediatrics, or radiology, gaining deeper knowledge and clinical expertise. DM is a super-speciality degree, pursued after MD, typically taking 3 years, focusing on an even narrower field.

Candidates can check the table below to see the comparison of the three courses.

Sorry, but you won't be able to get admission at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa with 7k rank. This is because, the cutoff for the General Medicine specialisation for the General AI category candidates stood at 3865. Even, candidates with OBC AI quota also, won't be able to get the required course at this rank. The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa cutoff 2024 for the NEET PG under OBC AI category stood at 5120.

Yes, candidates can definitely get admission to MD in General Surgery course at SVMC via Andhra NEET PG scores at a rank of 7000. Based on the SVMC cutoff 2022, the MD in General Surgery stood at, 9262 for the General AI category candidates. So, 7k is more than sufficient to get into the institute for the unreserved category candidates.
