Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship:
The scholarship is instituted in the memory of Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, Founder President of KIIT. Every year two poor and meritorious students are provided completely free education under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship covers college fees, hostel fees including mess, books and any other ancillary expenses. The decision of the selection committee regarding the selection of the candidate will be final.

The Institute is well equipped with facilities such as Library, Wi-Fi Campus, Hostel, Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Convenience Store, Cafeteria, Shuttle Service, Auditorium, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Sports Complex, Gym, A/C Classrooms and Labs. The Library of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences is very well-stocked with 32491 books, National and International both Print Journals having count of 67 titles, Back Volumes are 135 titles, CDs and DVD's are 400 in number. There are 20 hostels for boys and 11 hostels for girls are available with accommodation capacity of 10180 and 5648 students respectively. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air-conditioned and all the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality food. Each hostel has 24-hour reading room, the facility for indoor and outdoor games and wireless internet and intranet connectivity. There is a dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students. There are two cafeterias, one for students and one for staffs inside the campus serves soft & hot drinks, snacks & Ice-creams. The cafeteria offers appetizing fare ranging from snacks to full-fledged meals spanning South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese cuisine. University is facilitated by KIIT stadium, central indoor stadium and 10 sports complex distributed in different campuses.KIIT’s Central Indoor Stadium – Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium – is the hub for indoor sports activities. It is one of the biggest on-campus indoor stadiums in the country. In addition to these two central facilities, 10 Sports Complex are located on different campuses. Each such facility has a swimming pool, multi-gym, besides facility for other sports and games.
