It is accredited by NAAC and is approved by AICTE.
It is well known for its infrastructure, faculty and facilities provided by the college.
Many courses are offered by this university but out of which mechanical engineering course offered by this college is having about 120 seats.

It is well known for its facilities provided. The infrastructure of the university, sports complex hospital and faculty members are very good.
Due to the location of the college, there are many companies that visit JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha for the placement of mechanical engineering students. There are many core companies that come for the placements. They are Tata, Maruti, BHEL and many other companies.
