GD is group discussion and it totally depends upon the topic you have given, also there are certain rules of group discussion. For personal interview, you should concentrate on your communication skills. There is no preference book for it but there are so many videos on YouTube to prepare for a PI. Good luck

Dear Ashutosh, you need to visit the university websites for such information. Look for the university ranking on QS Ranking or US News Ranking and you will find the details updated easily. Always be well researched.

Hello Rohan. MAIT is one of the very good colleges of IPU. Mechanical is a good branch. Although in terms of placements it is an average college. The median package around 4 lpa. So if you want to pursue mechanical as an interest, you should go ahead with it. But if you want a very high package, consider other options.

Hi
There should not be any hindrance in pursuing your master's after the qualification you mentioned. Few of the indian institutes offering this degree are
1. http://www.iiap.res.in/intphd.htm
2. IISC bangalore
3. IISER
4. http://www.pondiuni.edu.in/department/department-astrophysics
