In 2022, the cutoff percentiles for admission to various categories for Mechanical Engineering at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering Academy (DYPSOEA) were as follows:

 

EWS (Economically Weaker Section): The cutoff percentile was 12.21 in 2022, compared to 3.69 in 2021.

GOPENH (General Open Category Home University): The cutoff percentile was 17.43 in 2022, but no specific data is available for 2021.

GOPENO (General Open Category Other than Home University): The cutoff percentile was 18.84 in 2022, while it was 5.69 in 2021.

Yes, B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is  offered at Amity University, Gwalior. Yearly fee of mechanical engineering is Rs 1.56 Lacs and semester wise fee is Rs 78000. Aspirants seeking admission in thisprogrammemust have passed 10+2 with PCM (min. 60%) from a recognised Board. Admission will be on the basis of JEE Mains/ State Engineering Entrance Exam/ Amity JEE.

Yes, Chitkara University offers a 4 year BE mechanical Engineering. Along with Mechanical Engineering they offers minor cse. For addmission in mechanical engineering candidate must fullfill the below criteria Passed XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% or secures 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; appeared in JEE Main(January/April); and, passed 10+2 examination or appearing. The admission shall be made on the All-India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 10743. In 2022, it increased to 12187. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 4094 to 4214 for OBC, 2187 to 2175 for SC, 2187 to 1039 for ST, 1564 to 2000 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 10368 and closing rank was 12187. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 17625 and 17981. Admission to B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2023, cut off was 12150 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 17907 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
