The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Surathkal has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category AIQ was 13365. In 2022, it increased to 13567. 

Similarly, cutoff off changed from 21629 to 25794 for OBC, 2472 to 65567 for SC, 79634 to 62185 for ST, 17978 to 18151 for EWS and 586 to 353872 for PWD. This is likely to continue in the coming years with growing demand for engineering education in India. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Jammu has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 13048. In 2023, it increased to 14589. Likewise, the cut off ranks have increased from 4903 to 4906 for OBC, 2398 to 2660 for SC, 1128 to 1212 for ST, 2085 to 2487 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The placement statistics of NIT Trichy for Chemical and Mechanical are the best. So B.Tech Chemical can be the good option for NIT Trichy. NIT Trichy is the best option against the 2nd choice.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering is 3294 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Kharagpur.

For general/OBC students whose family income is above 5 Lacs per annum is Rs. 66,700 in odd semester and in even is Rs.62,500. And if family income is between 1  Lacsto 5 Lacs then 1/3 of tuition fee and if below 1 Lacs and SC/ST student then full tuition fee exempted.

Previous year cutoff for B.Tech. in mechanical branch was around CRL 35k for general students at NIT Goa. Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent with 75 percent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidate who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are also eligible to appear. There is no age limit for the candidates.
