It all depends upon your branch, your board percentage and of course your caste. So if at all you are of OBC category with 92 % in board exam then 160 marks would be enough to get admission in some of the decent branch like Mech, EEE, civil. But for ECE and CSE it might be a bit more ranging from 180-190.

Different minds exhibit unlike actions and according to my opinion as an educator, ones interest decides which path to choose.
