During IIT Guwahati Placements 2022, M.Tech & M.Des students received an average salary of 26.33 LPA, B.Tech & B. Des students received an average salary of INR 17.77 LPA & the M.Sc. Students received an average salary of INR 15.38 LPA.

Lovely Professional University entered the most prestigious club of top 100 universities in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022. Ranked 23rd by NIRF among all Universities. School of Mechanical Engineering is among the best engineering colleges in Punjab. I had some friends in Mechanical dept. And they had great things to say about the mechanical engineering department. The mechanical dept. Has more than 40 labs for experimentation works. Many brands like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. Have been visiting LPU for recruiting mechanical engineers.

From available data, it could be assessed that NIT Surathkal and NIT Warangal are the most preferred NITs among students who want to do B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Approximately 95% of the graduates in the 2021 batch were placed in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Warangal, with a salary package of up to 37 LPA. Similarly, Mechanical Engineering branch graduates of NIT Surathkal also got good placements in the previous batch with the highest salary package of Rs. 31.5 LPA. Therefore, from a career perspective, NIT Warangal is currently the best.

If you want to get a free seat in JNTU, Hyderabad you must belong to SC/ST category with parent's annual income less that 2.5 Lacs or you must secure a rank below 10,000. Candidates who secure rank below 10,000 will get full fee reimbursement irrespective of their categories.
