You can choose any field in MBA if you are interested in.
But as you are interested in a mechanical engineering related field, go for Operations Management as they are dealing with the production, quality and supply chain in the industrial area.

An executive MBA programme is an ideal programme for people who want to continue working and also pursue further education. Most Institutes offering Executive MBA don't have a entrance test. You need to check the respective institute website and based on the their criteria apply for admission. Try and pursue Executive MBA from any of the top 50 MBA Institutes.

There is a little chance of getting that particular department in DSCE. However, you can try for industrial engineering and management in DSCE which is good course and is similar to mechanical.

Hello Aditya, Aah, it's good to know that you have already decided your aim. But do not be in a hurry. Things are fluid and changing every year. Rules are still being changed. But most importantly study well to understand subjects. This will automatically get you good marks. These marks in turn decide your rank and thus which college you may get.

You can not compare two universities like that. Check weather they offer Ph.D. in your stream of study. Normally Ph.D. is a sponsored programme and you will get stipend. If an university offer this, that means an industry has sponsored this Ph.D. and only the industry is paying the stipend. That shows the university has direct industry tie up and that is the best you can try.
