Hello Mayur, I don't think you can get admission in a college in Madhya Pradesh via lateral mode. Invariably there, as well as in Maharashtra, admissions are restricted to only those students who are domicile of the state concerned. I will like to advise you to register for the lateral admission in your own state.

He/she opts for a B.Tech major in mechanical engineering. Then, he/she appears for GATE and if they have a valid GATE score, they give entrance test of various institutions which offer M.Tech in Mechanical engineering (Weapons). 1 We don't have computer Science as a course in DA. The actual course is ICT- information and communication technology and I assume you are thinking the minor in CS to be computer Science. A minor is an addition to the main branch you are studying and you will have to take a couple of courses extra than general ICT students and in DA CS is Computational Science, not computer Science. Given the choices I would prefer DA because of the extended exposure it gives in various fields.
