As far as I know and observed all the branches are equally good. Placements at LPU is a major known factor and the preparations for it start soon after joining classes at LPU itself and the students are guided until and unless they secure a job for themselves. As per my observance engineering at LPU is well known for its placements packages, then management and then any other course placements are rated. Certainly, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, the number of admissions in the CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. The average package of the university is around 5 Lacs per annum and the highest package offered to a student of LPU in 2019-20 was Rs. 42 Lacs per annum. It was bagged by a student of B.Tech. CSE student only.
