The branch in which you have interest is better. We can't say like this, that this branch is better than that branch. It solely depends on you and your passion. If you like Electronics, Networks, Circuits and you really have passion for that, then go for ENTC. If you have passion for Machines, their Mechanisms, Designing of Machines, etc. go for Mechanical. Both Branches are good. Engineering is about passion. So, choose what you really like. Have interest in it. If you have any further questions, kindly post comments. Good Luck.

Hi,
Actually it depends on which field you are interested upon. Both are related to travelling, so two of them have a good scope.
As you have done B.Tech, so you can surely opt for Masters. Both airport jobs as well as tourism has good career opportunity.
Being a very wide field, the scope of employment in tourism sector is very bright and the potential is still largely untapped. Career opportunities exist both in the public and private sector. If you have completed Diploma course, you are surely eligible for B.Tech course in distance mode.

Hello Vishvajit,
GATE - graduate aptitude test in Engineering is a national level examination conducted for the admission into post graduate studies such as:
M. E/M. Tech, M.Sc etc. in the government colleges.
It would give you a chance to get admission into the IITs and other top institutions for post graduate studies.
To clear GATE, you need to have high conceptual knowledge on your B.Tech, as the questions are based on your undergraduate degree only.
Right from second year, you need to Master all the concepts. Then, you may refer the previous year papers and prepare accordingly.
Use good books for preparation.

In India, for doing PG in any subject, one needs to have done graduation in that subject. As your graduation is in different branch, I am afraid, you are not eligible.
