COEP is a premier institute while SPCE is not even known by that many people. Among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while SPCE is on not even in top 100.
Generally speaking COEP blows SPCE out of the water. COEP is much well-known and trusted among recruiters as compared to MIT. Last time COEP had around 83.8 % placements for mechanical (this number seems less as the students who didn't accept the offers are also included) and the average salary was around 6-7 LPA for mechanical department which is more compared to SPCE.
COEP in also better in academics and extra-curricular are compared to SPCE. What I have learnt from staying one year in Tamil Nadu is that COEP is well known all over India but the same is not the case with SPCE.
So go for COEP over SPCE.

A Mechanical Engineer is generally expected to fulfill the following duties.

If you are hired by a Multinational Company, you can expect high salary package. Similarly, good campus placements also fetch better salary packages.
Additionally, some companies offer salary on the basis of your skills, experience, expertise and the nature of roles and responsibilities handled previously. Generally, highly skilled and professional mechanical engineers can bag as high as an annual CTC of INR 40,000 45, 000 lacs.

Mechanical engineering is best Branch of Engineering and offers many government jobs .
The placement at Harcourt Butler Technical University of Mechanical Engineering is good. The placement ratio is almost around 75 to 80% placement.
The average package offered is around 3 to 5 LPA.
Since mechanical engineering is amongst evergreen fields, the placements in this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Company like Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like Eicher, Ultratech Cement, Adani Group, Ashok Leyland, etc. takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of HBT University. So it is really good to do mechanical engineering because in upcoming years there will more job opportunities in this Branch due to establishment of many Industries in India.
So the placement ratio of HBT University is almost 75 to 80% and in future it will be like this only for Mechanical Engineering and other top Engineering fields.

Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering is among the top colleges in the Mumbai, but only in terms of infrastructure and academics and if you get your hopes high about the placements in the college, you are about get disappointed really bad.
The college provides for an average placement package of around 3.5 lacs and that too in IT corporate companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture or actually mass recruiters which tells about the state of placement in the college.
The total batch placement percentage is around 70% and almost no core placement is seen in the college. Hence, the placements in the college are not at all satisfactory and one looking for placements should not take admission for the sake of it.
The highest placement in the college for mechanical engineering branch in 2017 branch was around 5-6 LPA. Hence I would recommend someone to join the college only if he or she has no other option.

LNM Institute, Jaipur is quite better than BML Munjal University if anyone have to choose between them because BML Munjal university est. in 2014 so no batch passed till date so it is quite risky to join this college but LNM Institute Jaipur is an deemed university est. in 2003.
LNM Institute is a non-profit trust spread over 100 acres of campus. Faculty are mainly PhD from good reputed college. Faculty member are quite helping which helps student in their career making and BML Munjal University has also good faculty but result of this college is not declared then it is quite tough to say is this college has good or not but review of studying student are quite good. Fee for both the college are approximately same that is 10 lakh for 4 year.
Admission in BML Munjal University is through her college exam but LNM Institute take admission on the basis of JEE Mains marks and more than 60% marks in class 12th exam board.
In 2016 LNM Institute has 96.9% placement in which 27 company visited but in BML Munjal University there is no placement events occur because college established in 2014.
Right now, BML Munjal is emerging we wish to see this college as one of the important college for engineering in the nearby future.

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management is located in Greater Noida and is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh.The college is not much older but it's growing very fast. GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management has good placement record for computer science engineering. Highest package offered was 25 lakhs per annum. But the placement of mechanical engineering there is not up to the mark. Very few core companies visited the campus. Most of the mechanical engineering students got placed in software/consultancy/ finance companies.
Average package offered for ME Students is 2-3 lakhs per annum.
So if your aim is to get a good placement that too in mechanical engineering then GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management is not a place for you. You should take admission somewhere else or switch your branch if you want to study in GL Bajaj.

Manipal Institute of Technology is among the top private colleges in India, and once had a great reputation for excellence in academics, faculty and placements.
Although if core company placements are what you are looking for then it is not the right place for you, as most numbers of offers are made by corporate IT companies while the number of core company placements in the college is only around 10%. So, most of the students end up taking IT corporate jobs, giving up packages of nothing more than 4 lacs.
The average placement packages offered for mechanical engineering branch in Manipal Institute of Technology is around 5 lacs and the highest placement package being on the batch of 2017 being around 8 lacs.
The total placement percentage for the whole was around 90% and hence the college ensures you of a job even though you fail to perform well in academics. Hence, one can consider taking admission in this college but you should consider this as your last option to resort at.
