Hi Sushant, your rank is good to get mechanical engineering at SRM university but you cannot get the main campus as there are very less chances only but for sure you can get mechanical at all other campuses.
You can download the counseling call letter from www.srmuniv.ac.in.

Hi Harikrishna, you can get mechanical engineering at SRM university but there are very less or no chance to get SRM university main campus.
The other campuses like NCR Ghaziabad, Sonipat and the other campuses in Tamil Nadu .
You can download the counseling call letter from www.srmuniv.ac.in.

Mechanical engineering is best in B.Tech if you want to do aeronautical then you can go for mechanical for Bachelors and then aeronautical in Masters. You will have both the degree with two different courses.
