You can join Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI). The AeSI is a professional body, devoted to advancement of aeronautical sciences and engineering in India. The AeSI conducts Associate Membership Examination twice a year. In which applicant has to clear minimum 10 level of Section-A and 10 level of Section- B with training, Internship & projects of this examination which is recognised by the Ministry of Education, at par with a Bachelors Degree (B.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering of University from India.

You can appear in GATE and continue pursuing in technical field. Clearing GATE with good score will open opportunities for you in PSUs. You can also appear in MBA entrance exams if you want to move in business field. You can also go for IBPS/Other bank exams if you want to start career in Banking field.

AMIE, AMIETE, etc. were considered equivalent to B.Tech in the industry. Many of the past AMIE, AeSI, IETE engineers have achieved an exemplary position in the engineering society, but MHRD had issued a circular on 06 December 2012 mentioning that AMIE, AeSI, IETE recognition will be withdrawn on 30th of May 2013. Distance education engineering degree holders will also face problems related to AICTE recognition. A gentle advice after a Diploma holder would be to pursue B.Tech/BE programmes through lateral entry (direct in the second year of the programme), but if you are very keen to pursue distance B.Tech, kindly visit the link mentio

The timings are from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Sometimes extra classes take place on Saturdays. But it can vary. Every semester a new timetable is preordained.
