Mechanical engineering will not be suitable for you because it is based on physics. You can go for CS or IT. These are also good streams and doesn't involve physics. Otherwise, if you can study hard, then you can go for mechanical.

Mechanical engineer can have a very bright future in Canada. For study purpose there are diploma & PG diploma courses of 13 years in fields like designing, heavy material equipment, project management, electromechanical automation & robotics, etc.
For doing job, we all know that Canada is not well populated country. And so, competition is much lesser than in Australia. Besides that, there is always requirement of skilled human resources. And there are oil rigs in Alberta, which provides many great opportunities, in oil & gas sector if interested.

Hello,
If you are thinking about Government college, firstly, you have to clear entrance exam like JEE Mains and Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, etc. for these exams. You should have 60% marks in 12 board exam. After admission, it doesn't matter. And if you are thinking about private college for engineering, as per my knowledge its depend on college.
