As you know Airbus and Boeing are very big companies and they only select candidates with high expertise level. First of all, you have to be a topper in every field. You can opt for aeronautical engineering from IIT or some other good institute and after that pursue Masters in aviation. With good grades you can apply for these companies and after cracking the interview, you can get a job in these global giants.

Are you happy with your current profile and package? What are your growth chances? Probably, you are the best to answer it. Good MBA costs a lot. Do you have enough finance to support it and the loss of salary otherwise you could have earned?
In my opinion, there is no better alternative but for to take up an MBA course. You can take marketing, international business depending on your area of interest. There are 100s of cases where someone has taken finance or marketing and ended up becoming a writer. Whatsoever you do, do it from the core of your heart.

Aeronautical engineering is more of a specialized stream where you will limit your job opportunities to the respective segment of industry. Thermal Engineering, Nano Technology, Fluid Mechanics, Industrial Engineering etc. are also in demand. But if you aim to push yourself into the academic stream, then any post graduation will do.
