It is a good and reputed university. About living on campus or off campus, international students spend first semester or the first year on-campus to get some understanding. Since living on campus is usually expensive they start looking for off campus accommodations after a semester or two. Since you wouldn't know any real estate agent in Canada right now, it is advisable you first live there for a semester and then look for another option.

Nowadays, technologists are paid very well and have good career opportunities in technical field. If you are technically oriented then you should do M.Tech or MS to specialise. If you are not technically oriented then MBA is a very good career switch option.

Germany is the hub worldwide for automobile and mechanical prospects. Definitely, it would be a good decision to pursue it from there.

The best country to pursue Masters in mechanical is Germany. However, Canada and Australia are good as well. Both have equal opportunities. If you want to make a choice between these two, then I would suggest Canada. As it is cheaper and jobs are relatively more in Canada. Their Master's program have Co-op option, wherein you get a semester to work and gain experience. This is part of your degree to work for six months.
I hope this helps.
