Scope of mechanical is good but in terms of placement in JSS Noida its not that good, only fraction of class students get placed through campus this time few that visited for mechies are Honda , Anglo-Eastern ,some designing related(Auto CAD, Solidworks)etc. And average salary is about Rs.3.6 lakhs p.a and rest crowd go for GATE exam, off campus placement ,other government services. JSS is good college have decent crowd and faculty with good labs.

Since you have already started studying in Swami Vivekanand Institute of Science and Technology, you must ask this question from your seniors. They will be better equipped and informed to answer this question for you.
My suggestion is that rather than worrying about placements, focus on developing your skills. Do new courses and learn about new technologies. When you are well prepared, you will not have to worry about placements from the college. You can get a job off-campus. All the best!

You are eligible to do MS Aeronautical or Aerospece engineering. Even without MS also you are eligible for job in ISRO or DRDO.

Zaheer, if you are interested in going into academics and opt it as a profession then M.Tech is going to be a good option. But if this is not your cup of tea then you can go for MBA so that you can get a corporate job.
But before this make up your mind on this that whether you want to do a job or want to go for higher studies. Hard to say, education standards are so high in Germany and so is the academic qualification and an applicant's mettle. A diploma will land you nowhere. If Germany is the country you are heading for holding a Masters or a even BS from a reputed university is important. Also the country offers no diploma programs on the whole. However check RWTH Aachen-RWTH International Academy for a short term course in automobile engineering they offer. The program is meant for current undergraduate students who have a strong command of the English language and are interested in automotive engineering.
