First of all you should think and do some research about yourself . What excite you most , what you want to do in your life ,your aim . It depends on you what you like ,so please consider your interest not the placements ,faculty and other Stuffs. Please go with your interest .
Scope of mechanical is good but in terms of placement in JSS Noida its not that good, only fraction of class students get placed through campus this time few that visited for mechies are Honda , Anglo-Eastern ,some designing related(Auto CAD, Solidworks)etc. And average salary is about Rs.3.6 lakhs p.a and rest crowd go for GATE exam, off campus placement ,other

Faculty : the faculty varies alot here from best to below average (in terms of teaching) , faculty profile , mostly Phd and Metch , many faculty members are pursuing Phd from IITs .
Placement : Placement is not that good for mechanical here in JSS fraction of mechies got placed through campus this year and average package was around Rs.3.6 lakhs. Companies which visited were Honda, Anglo-Eastern and few more core companies. Other recruiters were IT gaints like TCS , wipro, Tech mahindra etc . But here in JSS most of mechies go for GATE and few GRE(MS in foreign universities?)

Yes you can apply for the admission at MS RAMAIAH either online or offline .
The admission procedure the college consists of the 3 rounds -
1) Aptitude test
2) Group discussion
3) Personal interview
The admission depends upon the performance of the candidate in the admission procedure .
Apply as soon as possible as new session is going to begin within a few days

I would recommend PEC chandigarh for Mechanical. It is better than NIT Hamirpur definitely. PEC has been rated better in other branches as well and placements are also good.

after graduation in mechanical u can go for highet studies.like u can do Masters by cracking GATE exam and do Your m.tech in IIT
or indulge with a giant companies like airbus,boeing,maruti,tata etc
a mechanical guy has an ocean of opportunities.
u can go for a robotic program with Your mechanical degree.
