Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of science that includes a combination of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering. Mechatronics aim is a design process that unifies these sub fields. Aeronautical engineers work with aircraft. They are involved primarily in designing aircraft and propulsion systems and in studying the aerodynamic performance of aircraft and construction materials. Both courses are equally good. You can choose as per your interest.

Both Mechatronics and Biotechnology are niche branches. But unfortunately, in India, we have less scope and opportunities. Unless you do these courses in very reputed institutes, you will not be placed in reputed companies. For mechatronics, opportunities are open in Army, Navy, Electronics, Automobile, Gas manufacturing and ISRO. This is a very niche branch and has a lot of career and education opportunities abroad. Biotechnology is more research oriented here also you need to go for post graduation in well reputed institutes to enhance and do the real job in the biotechnology field.
