Hi,
Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of science that includes a combination of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering. Maybe, he is correct. Mechatronics is a combination of Mechanics and electronics. So it is better than Mechanics and electronics. And at the same time it is tougher than mechanics and electronics. Usually recruiting companies prefers mechatronics students than mechanics & electronics. If u r good in studies and aimed about your future. Take this course and don't get confused in your aim and keep your mind study rather that hopping. Good luck!
