Not in india but globally Mechatronics is growing very fast and right now every systems is made of Electromechanical systems with computer Science and programming like PLC, HMI, Microcontroller, CNC, Robotics systems.
India have the big market in manufacturing and machine tools applications where mostly mechatronics systems are working, In every industries like Food, Oil gas, Pharma, Manufacturing, Automotive every sector are using mechatronic

After completing M.Tech (mechatronics), you can find opportunities primarily in electronics industry. You can also work in fields like automobile, manufacturing, gas and oil, mining, transport, defence, robotics, aerospace and aviation.
