No, candidates do not require passing an entrance exam for admission to MPharm programme at MRSPTU. The selection to this course is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Admission to the MPharm course at Poona College of Pharmacy is completely entrance-based. The college accepts valid scores from either GPAT or BV-PHARMPG. Moreover, the college releases the merit list and conducts a counselling process according to the scores candidates have achieved in the entrance exam. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates must complete their basic eligibility criteria, which states candidates must complete their BPharm degree with at least an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ sponsored category candidates).

To get a seat in the MPharm course at Poona College of Pharmacy, candidates are required to complete their BPharm degree with an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ ST candidates).
Further, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam, i.e., BVP CET (BV PHARM PG)/ GPAT, at the given time and schedule.
Candidates who got shortlisted in the merit list are required to appear in the counselling process, conducted by the college's admission department. Whoever gets selected in the counselling process can pay an adequate amount of course fees and get selected.

The requirements for admission to the MPharm course at Poona College of Pharmacy are that candidates must have secured a valid score in the BVP CET/ GPAT entrance exam. Additionally, there are no guidelines available on the official website of the college/ university that claims that Poona College of Pharmacy offers direct admission to the MPharm course. However, the college does have management quota seats for the MPharm course, and to get that seat, candidates must contact the college's authorised department.
