Multimedia as the name suggest is a merger of multiple media it will consist of everything video, audio, games, drawing, broadcast so on and so forth. Animation is kind of like a part of multimedia.

Not many and ones that exist do not have a strong curriculum and placement cell it will be great if you can pursue the course from a private institute.
