Depends on the prestige of institute, you have to call them and check that out yourself . some good institute in a'bad are 1.Frame box , 2. Arena . one more I am forgetting a name . one more thing dear. Gujarat Uni-A'bad is offering MBA in Animation, fees for that course is 90,000/- for 2 years + UGC valid degree you'll have after that course . so think for that also , if you want some more info regarding that feel free to ask , you can always shoot me a mail on asit.aaj@gmail.com
Now coming to salary part, it will depend on your skill. v.large amount of variation has been seen in that. starting salary varies from 7000/- to 45,000/- PM

Hi lismi, The exact fee can be known from a visit to our institute but the rough fees for AME is less than 1.5 lacs which covers 16 softwares and job assistance is given after 90 days of your enrollment. And you get internship from the industry aswell

Prakriti, I would recommend that if you are the best student in your city, take any of these fields and you'd be successful. This is the theory of relativity, the course is just as good as you are. Find out your real interest and follow it. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). Animation is a booming industry with wide job openings and you can work on full length animation movies or any other related fields such as television, advertising industry etc.
Some of the jobs offered in the industry are :
• Content developer
• Modeler
• Story Broad Artist
• Character animator
• Background artist
• Layout artist
• 2D animator
• Compositor
• Editor
Always remember, salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience, etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
- Junior animator or trainee : earn between Rs.10000 - 15000 per month.
