IIEST, Shibpur for sure. The placements at IIEST, Shibpur has always been better than that of NIT, Durgapur. And with each passing year, the placements are getting better. The highest package offered in 2016 was Rs. 46 Lacs per annum. Ever since its transformation from BESU to IIEST, it has been attracting the attention of reputed firms and the placements are getting better since then. Probably looking at the record, entrance in IIEST is quite tough at this rank. But, you may get admission in mining department. Last year, closing rank for your category in this department was 28098.
