JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per NIT Uttarakhand JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 48801 for General category candidates in All India quota for Civil Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 57958 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NIT Uttarakhand) has a high percentage of placement. In 2023, the total placement rate for BTech students was 79.49%, and 45.45% for M.Tech students. The average package cost INR 11 LPA, while the most expensive package cost INR 21 LPA. The highest package in 2022 was INR 34 LPA. L&T, Cogoport, BPCL, RVNL, Wipro, Samsung R&D, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, and EXL are some of the major hiring firms.

NIT Uttarakhand achieved 45.66% overall BTech placements for the academic year 2021-2022 till now. As per the latest report, a total of 127 students were eligible for NIT Uttarakhand placements 2022, of which 58 have been placed so far. The highest packages offered till now stood at INR 34 LPA.
