NEET MDS Last Round cutoff for admission to the MDS courses has been released. As per the SRM University MDS cutoff 2025, the NEET MDS closing ranks varied between 4511 and 10404 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, yes, a student with a NEET MDS rank of 5000 can get admission to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. However, the students have to wait until the last round, as the cutoff ranks might be more competitive in the initial rounds. Tabulated below is the NEET MDS last round cutoff trend for MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the General AI quota:

Yes, the student can get full security deposit if the student is alloted college even in the third round or fourth round of counselling but if the student take part in mopup round then security fees will be refunded or not it depends upon NEET authorities. If you take admission and then leave the course, in that case, the student won't get thier security money and even they have to pay fine for that seat which will remain vacant.

Yes, candidates will have to do online registration to participate in the counselling process. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. NEET MDS counselling will start with registration, followed by choice declaration, paying fee, seat processing, result declaration, and reporting. Choices for college and course have to be filled online for seat allotment. It must be noted choice filled will be automatically locked if candidates don't lock themselves in the given deadline and they will not be able to modify the options in that case.

No, candidates will have to make online registration to participate in the counseling process for NEET MDS seat allotment. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in once counselling begins. Registration is mandatory to become eligible for seat allotment process. Registration will be followed by choice declaration. Candidates can declare choice of their prefrence and lock them. Registration can be done in any round except last round of NEET MDS counselling. Total four rounds of counselling will be held for NEET MDS counselling and seat allotment.

No, candidates have to qualify for NEET MDS to become eligible for NEET MDS counselling.  Candidates have to qualify for the NEET MDS exam with a minimum cutoff, which varies for each category. The minimum cutoff percentile for general category candidates is 50, while for SC/ST, the cutoff is 40th. Eligible candidates have to register on the official website, mcc.nic.in, to participate in the counselling for NEET MDS. Registration is followed by a choice declaration. Candidates can declare as many choices as they want to in order of their preferences.

At the time of registration for NEET MDS counselling, a candidate needs to pay two kinds of fee, refundable and non refundable.  Non-refundable: A candidate who wishes to participate in the counselling of NEET MDS has to pay a non-refundable registration fee for the submission of choices and Refundable: During the registration process a candidate is also required to pay a part of the tuition fee. This will be refunded to the candidate if he/ she is not allocated a seat in the counselling process. Candidates do have to pay both fees during registration for NEET MDS counselling.

There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill during the counselling of NEET MDS. These choices, however, should be in the order of preference as desired by the candidate. It must be noted choices have to be locked in the given deadline other it gets automatically locked. Candidates are advised to fill choices carefully as it can't be modified once the timeframe ends. Seats will be allotted based on choice declared by candidates and other factors. Total four rounds of NEET MDS counselling is held for allotment of 50% All India quota seats.
