NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted by NBE on January 31, 2025, in a computer-based mode. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced the exam date of NEET MDS 2025 exam on November 27, 2024, on its official website in the form of a common exam calendar. The NEET MDS 2024 exam centres will be located in 56 test cities across the India. The exam timing will be from 9 am to 12 pm. According to NEET MDS pattern, the question paper will carry 240 multiple choice questions and candidates will be given three hours to answer them. NEET MDS scorecard has to be downloaded online from the exam website. Candidates have to enter their Application ID and password to download the scorecard. It comprises details such as roll number, application ID, marks scored All India Rank etc. The scorecard for NEET MDS should be preserved till the admission process is complete. The scorecard is available only in online mode and NBE will not send the hardcopy of the NEET MDS 2025 scorecard by post.

NBE declared the result for NEET MDS 2025 on May 15, 2025. The exam was conducted on April 19, 2025. The merit list for the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats has been released initially. The individual scorecards was released on May 23, 2025. Only those candidates, whose names will be there on the merit list are considered to be eligible for the NEET MDS 2025 counselling process. The result has been uploaded on the official website in a PDF format. Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website with application ID and password. A total of five rounds of NEET MDS counselling are conducted for seat allotment. Originally four rounds are conducted by MCC, after which an additional round is announced based on the seat vacancies. It must be noted that whole process of counselling is held online. Eligible candidates will have to register online to participate in the seat allotment process. Registration can be done in every round. Apart from registration, NEET MDS counselling comprises steps such as choice declaration, seat processing, allotment result and document verification.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the conducting body for the NEET MDS counselling. It must be noted, NBE only conducts the exam and declares the result of NEET MDS. MCC conducts counselling for allotment of 50 per cent All India Quota seats. For rest 50 per cent seats, respective state authorities conduct the counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website of MCC and declare choice for college and course for NEET MDS counselling. Only NEET MDS qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling for seat allotment.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the NEET MDS counselling 2024 Special Stray Vacancy round, was conducted from October 14 to October 25, 2024. Originally, the counselling process was conducted from July 1, 2024, to September 14, 2024. The NEET MDS cutoff was reduced by NBEMS, which led to the additional round of counselling process.

NEET-MS is an entrance exam for admission into M.Ch. (Master of Chirurgiae) courses in India, which is a postgraduate-level super specialty programme in surgery. MPH (Master of Public Health) is a different course and requires a different entrance exam. You need to appear for entrance exams like NEET PG or AIIMS PG for admission into MPH courses in India.
