International students are not required to submit the Genuine Student Assessment form but they should if it is required. To complete the form, the student must fulfill the following:

·       The university officials must conduct an interview with the prospective international student

·       The student’s answers to interview questions which are to be written in the notes section

·       The student must determine if the answer is satisfactory and then they must complete the Assessment Process and Risk Assessment section to find out the level of risk the applicant might pose to the university

·       Wherever indicated, the student must sign and add the date of the questionnaire.

The Student Welfare Service supports the students if they are in any financial hardship due to personal circumstances or any event and also need financial assistance for living costs or food security. The university also offers financial grants which are available for enrolled students in financial hardship. They assist the students with education related expenses and essential living costs. The eligibility criteria for receiving financial grants is given as follows:

·       The student must be enrolled in one subject

·       The student must have completed atleast one session of study

·       The student must submit proof of hardship through financial documents

The eligibility criteria for scholarships for international students are given as follows:

• The scholarships are offered on their academic achievements after completing their year 12 qualification or equivalentrecognisedby the university.
• They have to be an international student and not an Australian citizen. If the visa status of the student changes during their study period, then the scholarship will not continue.
• They must be starting a new programme of study in the year 2023 for the first time.
• The student must be applying to study in a CRICOS undergraduate degree programme
• The student must fulfill the academic eligibility requirements for either the AUD 6,000 or AUD 3,000 multi-year scholarship

The students who are successful with their application have to follow the given steps below:

• The student will receive the Admission offer letter and they are required to follow the instructions given on how to respond to the offer.
• The student has to sign the acceptance form and send it back to the international admissions team at the university.
• If any additional documents are required, then the student will have to submit them and upload them online.
• The next step is to apply for the student visa before coming to study at the university.
• The student will receive an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment after the acceptance forms and payment is done.
