For admissions to universities abroad to undergraduate courses, a PTE score between 51-60 is generally considered sufficient. However, higher scores can lead you to win an atractive scholarship or get selected in a good college.

The Silver Fern Job Search visa is a 9-month work permit for young, skilled individuals aged 20-35 to find skilled work in New Zealand. The Skilled Migrant Category on the other hand is a separate, points-based pathway to permanent residence for skilled workers. Both of these visas require 58+ PTE score.

You should apply immediately after accepting your offer. Ideally by May. Student visa processing can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, and waiting until June is risky. Applying early ensures you have your visa in hand. Well before your flight.

No, not every programme is offered in July. Core degrees in Business and Engineering are widely available. Some specialised health or research courses may only have a February start. You must check the specific course availability on the university website before applying.

It depends entirely on your academic schedule. February is the primary intake with the most course options, but the July intake in New Zealand is perfect for Indian students finishing exams in May who wish to avoid a gap year. Both intakes offer the same quality of education.

Deadlines usually fall between April and May. Popular universities like University of Auckland may close specific competitive courses earlier if seats fill up. It is strictly recommended to apply at least three months earlier. 1st week of March is right time for this.

Students generally choose between on-campus Halls of Residence, homestays, or renting a shared house. Each has its own pros and cons. Price for each options of student accommodation in NZ varies. Living near a university is expensive.
