NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) has released its date for the NIFT 2024 Examination. The examination will be conducted on February 5, 2024 .
The date for submission of application form began on December 5, 2023 followed by the last date on January 3, 2024.

NIFT 2026 exam is expected to be conducted at around 80 centres. There are multiple centres in each of these cities. Candidates can choose the cities, but it depends on the NIFT Examination conducting committee to decide the particular centre in the city.
The candidates will know about which exam centre they are being allocated to on the admit card.

Apart from GAT, NIFT also tests its candidates with a Creative Ability Test (CAT ) to test their creative skills, concept observation skills and illustrations based drawings and designs. This exam is conducted through offline pen and paper mode. Candidates will be given 180 minutes (3 hours) for this colour and drawing based examination.
A candidate not appearing in this examination, will not have access to situation test for B.Des or M.Des.
