Yes, you can apply for the PESSAT entrance exam even if you have completed your 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The PESSAT eligibility criteria do not specify any restriction regarding the board from which a candidate has passed their 12th exam. As long as you meet the general requirement of passing your 12th (or equivalent) with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category (40% for SC/ST candidates), you are eligible to apply.

If you miss practical exam,  you won't get the passing certificate and would have to appear for the practical exams as private candidates next year.

NIOS states that If the student passes in practicals but fails in the theory of a subject,  his/her practical marks will be retained and he/she can appear again ONLY in theory papers in on demand.

If you are still confused visit your the nearest NIOS branch to get your queries resolved

NIEM is offering many courses related to event management and, in terms of the qualification criteria, they may differ from one course to the other. Nevertheless, for most of the courses, NIEM wants the candidates to have minimum 50% in 10+2 or equivalent. Since you have done your 10th and 12th through NIOS with 75.4% you are eligible for this course. NIEM also opens admission for students who have dropped from conventional education system and taking NIOS programme. Total intake capacity of institute per batch is 120 to 150 students and selection process includes written exam and interview.

NIOS class 12th october exam was from October 22 to November 29 in the year 2024. If you failed to write exams on that particular dates then your fees is wasted. Now you need to pay the fees again next year and write the exams.

Generally, candidates are eligible for NEET exam if they have PCMB in Class 12th through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The eligibility criteria for NEET exam is candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from any state board or recognised board. However, with less than 50% in PCB, it is difficult to be eligible for attempting NEET. Candidates must have atleast aggregate of 50% marks (40% for SC, ST, OBC category) in PCB subjects in class 12th.
