NIOS dual marksheet (where a student has two sets of marksheets for Class 12 due to improvement exams or subject combinations) is accepted for CUET and university admissions, provided both are genuine and issued by NIOS.
CUET & University Rules
- CUET UG Eligibility:
- Any student who has passed Class 12 from a recognised board (including NIOS) is eligible.
- Improvement marksheets or dual marksheets are valid, as long as they are officially issued by NIOS.
- Universities (DU, BHU, JNU, etc.):
- They accept NIOS certificates for admission.

Yes, NIOS ODE results are accepted by top Australian universities. While this may not be the sole requirement, applicants must check for other details as well for admission. Majority of top ranking universities accept NIOS ODE scores.

NIOS board does not sent any individual notification regarding the declaration of the NIOS 12th result. Students need to keep a track of the same online. Once announced, the NIOS 12th results can be checked by logging with the required credentials.

NIOS allows students to attempt NIOS 12th board exam twice in a year. NIOS board exams are held in April/May and Oct/Nov.

NIOS Board will distribute the NIOS 12th mark list after the results. Students have to collect their NIOS 12th marklist from their respective regional centre. They can start applying degree courses after NIOS 12th result 2026.

NIOS 12th board exam is not an easy exam since students are learning via distant education mode. We cannot say that it is easy to clear NIOS 12th exam. They need to work hard to clear the NIOS 12th board exam.

NIOS board do not release toppers list after the NIOS 12th result 2026. Any score more than 80% is considered as good score in the NIOS 12th result.

A good marks in NIOS Class 12 exam is generally considered to around 80 percent or higher. Marks above 90 per cent is considered excellent.
