Students have to pay an exam fee to appear for the class 12 examination conducted by NIOS. Failing to do so may lead to unwanted hurdles. If a candidate has forgotten to pay the class 12 NIOS fees then he/ she has two options and they are as mentioned below:
- Students can apply for the ODES exam which is conducted in the next month of NIOS examination.
- The other option available for the student is he/she can wait for the next half-yearly exam.

The fundamental idea behind an on-demand exam is that a student enrolled in NIOS can attend the examination centre for exam whenever they feel prepared.

I have been trying hard to get the same question answered for the past one month.
After a month and about 100 calls they said "learner is not in top 20 percentile but did not tell the cut off marks.
I am still trying to get that value because according to statistics until 2019 which NIOS provided to JOSAA 347/500 was the cut off for top 20 percentile. My son has 367 and still they say not in top 20

Yes, you can apply for UPCATET after completing your 12th from the NIOS Board. The eligibility criterion to apply for the UPCATET exam involves completing 12th from a recognised board, even if NIOS is for open education, the board is a recognised entity. This enterance exam is conducted once per year to provide UG and PG admissions in Agriculture Disciplines. To apply for the UPCATET exam a candidate must hold a Domicile of the UP state, considering that you already have this, you can easily apply for the exam.
