Scoring 89 percentile in JEE Main 2024 can offer you admission opportunities in NITs and IIITs. For NITs, candidates aiming for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) normally want a rank under 30,000, that's approximately equivalent to 97 percentile. Having an EWS rank of 8170 in JEE Main 2024 puts you in a favorable position for admission to several NITs. Generally, candidates with EWS ranks in this vicinity often secure admission in NITs such as Surathkal, Calicut, Warangal, and others. No, in order to be admitted to NITs, candidates in the General Category must achieve at least 95 percentile. To be admitted to NITs, candidates from the Reserved category must have an 80+ percentile score. So unfortunately with 70-75 percentile, you can not get into any NIT. The candidates are advised to visit: JEE Main Rank Predictor 2024: Calculate JEE Rank From Percentile/Score  to check for the college in which they are eligible.

At this rank, central 432162 and OBC category rank 157048, you can not get admission in any NIT in any branch of NIT, as per the available data on the website of Josaa counseling for JEE Mains rather than you can go for any GFTI or other Govt State colleges because at this rank it is not possible to get admission. Your rank is too low to get admission in NIT.

Candidates must score well in the admissions process of NITs in order to be admitted to their preferred institution and specialization. To be considered for NIT seats, candidates typically need to have a percentile between 85 and 95.
