A valid GATE score is mandatory requirement for M.Tech admission in NITs. So you need to qualify the GATE exam with high marks above 500 for admission here.

NITs are difficult to get on this percentile. Please increase this upto 90 in next session of JEE Main.

Based on the previous year analysis, General category candidates require 95-97 percentile in JEE Mains for NIT. OBC/ EWS candidates require 85-90 percentile while SC/ ST candidates require 65-70 percentile in JEE Mains for NITs.

NITs are not offering B.Tech Aerospace engineering course. IIEST Shibpur is offering B.Tech Aerospace and Applied Mechanics course. The admission in IIEST in B Tech courses based on JEE Mains ranking.

Candidates who want NIT Agartala admissions need to apply online. Candidates are selected through various national-level entrance tests which include IIT JAM, CCMN, JEE Main, GATE, CCMT, NIMCET, MAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, etc. NIT Agartala comprises 13 departments that offer more than 20 courses in different streams such as Science, IT and Software, Engineering etc. Candidates are selected through multiple national-level entrance tests for these courses. Admission is provided on the basis of cumulative scores of a qualifying exam, Personal Interview and profile of the candidate.

No, admissions at NIT Surathkal are only through national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Mains, GATE, CAT etc. Apart from this, students need to meet the last educational qualification s per course requirement. Studnets can check the list of course eligibility and selection for few of top courses offered at NIT Surathakal admissions from the table presneted below:

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surata admission to ita flagship cousres bare based on the national-level entrance exams JEE Main and GATE. The institiutions only accepts the above-mentioned exams. Therefore, GUJCET is not applicable for the admission in NIT Surat. Candidates can find below lists of exams required for admission:

Based on your question, on 140 your percentile will lie between 97-98 and your rank will be around 24,000-35,000. Given that you're a general category male student, CSE at any decent NITs will not be available to you, even if you are a home state student. However, stats and your chances may differ if you are from category or are a female student.
