Yes, most Jalandhar nursing colleges are approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC). This approval is one of the very important factors that will confirm your degree for your future licensing and jobs. It is always a good idea to check for INC approval before registering at a college.

Every Nursing college in Jalandhar usually accepts PPMET scores for admission, but there are also colleges to which a student can apply directly. Some colleges also admit students on merit bases without any entrance exam.

Jalandhar has around 21 nursing colleges offering various nursing programs. Out of these, 13 colleges are private, and only 1 is government-owned. This gives students a good mix of options to choose from. Courses range from BSc Nursing to GNM and ANM. It's a strong hub for nursing education in Punjab.

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) is a shorter course, ideal for students wanting to enter the workforce fast. GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) takes longer but opens more job and growth opportunities. Your choice should depend on your career goals and how soon you want to start working. Both courses are offered by top colleges in Ranchi, including RIMS.

Yes, but only if the college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Without this approval, your degree may not be recognised for government jobs or licensing. Always check a college's current INC status before taking admission. This one factor can decide your entire career path in nursing.

Admission to RIMS Ranchi for GNM or B.Sc Nursing depends on clearing the Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (NECE). This exam is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Students must fill the form as soon as it is released, usually around May-June.
