Yes, students with no UPCNET/NEET. There are many private colleges in Lucknow that offer admission on merit based only on 12th marks (no entrance exam required). And some colleges organise a simple entrance test or a personal interview for admission itself. Only for very good and popularly known government colleges like KGMU and SGPGIMS, entrance exam score is absolutely necessary.

Yes, that's true and there are more scholarships available than most know. Telangana ePASS plus several other college-level merit-based and need-based scholarships are also there. Students should approach individual colleges and also check state ePASS portal. Most government nursing colleges in Hyderabad offer scholarships and fee waivers based on merit and reserved categories, but most private colleges also provide scholarship although the pattern is quite varied as per the policies of institutions.

As mandated by the Indian Nursing Council, BSc Nursing admissions across India require qualifying NEET-UG, with state counselling for Telangana conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal via knruhs.telangana.gov.in. So while some private colleges may have flexibility, NEET qualification is now increasingly mandatory for INC-recognised colleges across Hyderabad.
