As you have two years of experience in logistics and two years of gap, at first, the main aim should be getting as much higher rank and percentile in entrance tests as possible. After that, preparing for interviews in whichever college you have applied. You have a good chance to get into SIOM if you want to with your experience in logistics.

Hi,
MBA in operations covers a list of business skills required in business, especially those engaged in manufacturing of products as India is still growing in manufacturing sector.
Nature of job requires a lot of regular interaction with engineers, researchers, marketing professionals and everything other employees working for the firm.
This is still a growing sector in India and Managers are still getting paid an average package of 8-9 LPA.

Yes, its a good choice to go for operations. Many manufacturing and production/logistics industries look for operations manager to optimise there work. During MBA, you will come across various concepts on saving the time/money/labour through methods based in Excel/SPSS/R/Python programs. As an electrical engineer, you will find it relatively easy as compared to non-engineers.
