You can pursue MBA in operation management or PG Diploma in operation management. Many top level institutes offer MBA in operations management including University of Mumbai, IIT, IIMs, etc.

Yes, for any student pursuing MBA from KIIT its much more beneficial to be a hosteler. As we have most of the classes till late in the evening including some assignments and project works which needs to be processed late working nights. Therefore the college authorities provide this residential campus for us. Moreover as you are a localite, you can move to your home as required or on holidays with due permission from college authority.
Answering to your next question i would like to answer as i get all the details about it. Hope you understand.

Normally, engineering students stick to their area. I suggest you to go for M.Des., you will enjoy it. You can also go for MBA in operations management or MBA in HRM.
