Thapar University Patiala has 17 on-campus hostels, out of which 10 hostels are allotted to boys and remaining 7 hostels are allotted to girls. The hostels are equipped with high-speed wi-fi and all the basic amenities required to live a comfortable life.

If you're checking B.Tech placements at Punjabi University Patiala, I'd say don't judge only by the highest package. The university does have a placement and career support system, and B.Tech students do get opportunities through companies visiting the campus.
But if placements and industry exposure are your main priorities, I would also consider LPU. LPU has a much larger placement ecosystem, with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Accenture and Capgemini visiting for recruitment. There are also opportunities for internships, training and industry interaction.
