Most of the colleges and universities offer admission to Ph.D. Nanotechnology course on the basis of entrance exams like UGC NET, CSIR NET, etc.

Hi
Those who have qualified their M.A. Degree in Humanities or hold an M.Phil. With an aggregate of 60% marks and above for General Category and 55% marks and above for SC/ST category can avail for admission. Qualifying the entrance examination for this programme of Ph.D. by UGC is a prerequisite criteria.

There is no difference in validity for Ph.D. course in private, state or central universities if the university is duly approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Therefore, if you are thinking to get admission in any private university, then first of all know that university is duly approved by UGC or not.

Candidates should have completed a Masters degree or equivalent in relevant subjects from a recognised university in India or abroad with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA in aggregate.
