Top international colleges like Harvard, Cambridge etc. do not have any fixed eligibility criteria for getting admission in one of their colleges. It completely depends on the outlook of the candidate. Performing well in international entrance exams like GMAT/GRE helps as that is one of the main indicators or measures which are used by foreign universities to award admission. The candidate should also have a strong undergraduate degree (Academic) and strong inclination towards extra-curricular activities. All these factors combined should help you portray a decent application for gaining admission in the top colleges abroad.

General Eligibility Criteria for Indian students for B.Sc Course
There minimum age to join this course is 18 years. There is no upper age limit. Many colleges demand that students should have a domicile certificate.
Academic Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Course
Students who have cleared their class 12 with more than 55 percent marks can apply for this program.
Few reputed universities conduct entrance exams for admission into their B.Sc. courses.

Those who opt for the astronomy field, should pass their plus two examination under the science stream, specially in physics and math's. For pursuing a career in theoretical or observational astronomy one may go through the science stream after plus two. Eligibilty criteria for doing M.Sc Physics is that candidate must have passed B.Sc with Physics as major subject. As you are a biology student, you are not eligible for M.Sc Physics unless you had Physics as major in B.Sc degree.
