As far as your Boards ICSE or CBSE are concerned, then you should refer to your books provided By your School and other textbooks which have the past solved question papers or workbook which have slightly tougher questions than the other.
But if you Are Really Concerned For Your Future Studies And want to make a strong foundation in Science or if you need to start preparation for the Exams Like NTSE which really Have a Tough Foundation Level Concept Questions or You Need to Be more focused for JEE Exams Then You may See or go through these conceptual books for better understanding of knowledge. Candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognized board
admission is based on merit system.
Non-MH general: 92%
MH Gen: 88 to 90 %
MH OBC (non-creamy) : 85% or little less.
MH SC/ST/NT: Can get as low as 50%.
Cutoff depends on each year 12th performance.

Number of seats for general category for the course is 97, Last year, the cutoff for the same is 92% in best four aggregate, so you may apply for the course but it depends on this year (2018) cutoff.

Yes, DU considers the best four marks for B.Sc. in Physics. The best college to get into is Hindu or Shi Venkateshwara.
