To apply for MSc course, the student have to be graduate from a recognised universiy/institute.

Candidates seeking admission to Burdwan University must have valid WBJEE scores. Burdwan University admission cutoff for the BE courses has been concluded with the release of WBJEE Round 3. Vidyasagar University MSc admission is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate the respective subjects from a recognised university. To secure MSc admission candidates must first register on the official website of the university followed by the application porcess. Further, students are shortlisted  based on merit in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Vidyasagar University. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the final MSc fee to finalise their admission at the university.

Adamas University offers courses to students in streams like Engineering, Trade, Science, etc. With the flagship programmes of the institute being BTech, MBA, etc. The university offers these courses to students under its several schools like School of Business, Smart Agriculture, Education, Engineering & Technology, etc.

Sister Nivedita University offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses in various streams through 15 schools of study. Sister Nivedita University fees range from INR 1,200 to INR 8.14 lakh. Candidates can refer to the table below to know the fee for a few courses:

For admission to JIS University MSc course, there is minimum eligibility prescribed by the university for the selection of the right candidate. The minimum eligibility for admission to MSc is to graduate with a minimum of 50% score in the relevant discipline along with 45% aggregate in BSc. Those candidates who belong to the state of West Bengal are only required to graduate with BSc from any university in West Bengal. There is no minimum qualifying percentage required for the latter candidates.

Kalyani University admission to most of the courses are offered via scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams. However, the university does not conduct any entrance exams on its own, but it accepts a few state/ national-level entrances conducted by West Bengal state. These include WBJEE, WB JECA, WB JEMAT, CAT, MAT, GATE, etc., for admission to BTech, MCA, MBA and M.Tech programmes. For courses such as BCom, BA, BSc, MA, etc., direct admissions are offered to candidates based on their scores obtained in the previous qualifying exam. Candidates must pass BSc in relevant discipline with at 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST) to apply for NIT Durgapur MSc programme. Besides, aspirants must also pass IIT JAM followed by CCMN Counselling for admission to MSc.
