Yes and depends on your knowledge on the subject and demonstration of interests, taking the GRE alone will not guarantee an admission. Check with the universities first, some universities won't accept while some may. Pre-requisite courses may be required.

You can do B.Sc in physics. Also, masters in this subject from foreign and can join ISRO.

Yes, why not. There are many fields in physics. You can go for research.

You will have to pursue a masters course in journalism if you wish to get into core journalism.

First of all congratulations! I will recommend you to go with CSE from IIT Mandi, but in that case only if you have a keen interest in computer science and engineering. Placement wise it's very good also you will get very good exposure. IIT Mandi has very good semester exchange program too, you have a very good option there to go abroad and explore further. Else if you wish to go with core opt for the other options which are left.

Students passing B.Sc. Three year Degree Course Examination and having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate will be eligible for admission in M.Sc. Physics Course.

Chemistry is a better option because having honours in chemistry will make you eligible for many other fields like medicine, pharmacology, chemical engineering etc.
