Dear Siddhant, there are many good universities like Lovely Professional University, Christ University, Manav Rachna University, Delhi University, etc. that are offering direct admission for B.Sc Physics on basis of your marks in previous qualifying exams. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites for more details. Good luck.

There many career options after B.Sc in Physics, but if you are interested in Physics/Science stream related career than it would be better if you opt for M.Sc in Physics and than do Ph.D in the same subject as it often seen than PG in Physics and Ph.D holders are required and earning very well who are employed in government or private research and development organisations such as Indian Space Research organisation, National Remote Sensing Agency, Space Application Centre and so on. You can join M.Sc Physics.

Hi Ishika,
Congratulations on successfully completing your +2.
Coming on to your eligibility criteria, you do have good marks for applying in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
But, on the index calculation basis, I am not sure about you getting into the merit list. Do give a shot!
If not the first list, do wait for the second list. I will give you all the required links below.

Yes, physics is also included in SNU entrance exam. SNUSAT and APT do not require any sort of intense preparation if you have appeared for JEE Mains. Physics and Maths portion for engineering and natural sciences is the same as JEE Mains. Maths portion of economics is also similar to that of HSC. Rest of the courses for School of Humanities also requires logical thinking.
