West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2016 (WBJEE 2016) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). This board was established in 1962 primarily to conduct Common Entrance Examinations for Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in West Bengal.

I think applied physics will be more preferable because you will get plenty of opportunities after the completion of a degree which can help you choose the appropriate career. It is very difficult with theoretical physics. Take care and have a great time. All the best.
